Society today suffers from the disturbing issues of sexual assault and abuse. It is a prevalent problem that has traumatized thousands of victims, and continues to destroy many lives, leaving women in debilitating states of psychological, physical, and emotional trauma. This book attempts to lend a different perspective to the perceived causes of sexual violence, and propose practical ways by which girls and young women can protect and defend themselves from sexual abuse. As a TaeKwonDo black belt, the author, drawing analogies from TaeKwonDo, presents suggestions on how young women may incorporate strategies into their personal lifestyles to address this social ill.
