The Corpse That Ran Away (The Danny Bolt Series Book 1)

This mystery thriller is about Danny Bolt, a political fixer. When powerful people have impossible problems, they come to him. Danny works in the Hamptons in 1985.

In this adventure, Danny must solve the murder of a man his boss knew. The investigation leads to a twist-filled story of revenge, the plotting of mass murder, and a clue hidden inside a Dorothy L. Sayers novel.

Danny’s world is filled with politicians with secrets, moral dilemmas, and criminals. His inner world is filled with memories of the death of a woman he loved and an increasing sense of intense loneliness.

The novel’s author advised two members of the United States Congress. He uses that experience to create a realistic picture of what it means to be a political insider under pressure.
